The following is a compiled listing of questions that are commonly asked by our Clients. This information may help to answer questions that you may have, as well as provide you with additional information.
How far in advance of my Sitting do I need to book an appointment? We recommend at least 2 weeks. How soon after my Sitting will I get to see my pictures and make a selection? Normally it will take 1-2 days, and you will have exclusive online access to a secured web page to review your picture proofs and make selections to place an order. When do I need to pay you, and do I need to pay anything before the Sitting? The Sitting Fee is paid at the time of your portrait session and does not apply to any pictures that you order. And to keep our prices reasonable, we only accept cash and personal checks as forms of payment, in order to reduce the credit card fees that would be passed on to the Clients. What if I book an Sitting and then my child gets sick? We recommend to all parents, please reschedule if your child appears sick the morning of the appointment. We will try to accommodate you by scheduling a make-up session on the earliest possible date. If I can't make a Sitting, can I reschedule? We understand that things come up and canceling a session becomes unavoidable. Please give us at least 24 hours notice, if possible. If not, we will do our best to reschedule your appointment. Once I place an order, how long does it take to get the actual pictures? At the time of ordering a deposit of half the order is required. Your portraits are ready in about 2 weeks. Sometimes they may be ready earlier, in which case we will call you to make arrangement for your order pick-up. What if I come to the Sitting and my child is not cooperating? If your child is having an off day during our portrait session we will stop and take a little break, or we can reschedule. I know how important it is to get a quality portrait, and sometimes children just dont feel like cooperating. That is okay we will work it out. How should we dress, and how many changes of clothes do I bring? We recommend that children be dressed in simple patterns, and in light or dark colors. Collars on clothing are distracting to the face, and any material that might be itchy to the skin is not suitable. Infants photograph great in just a onesie or diaper. What if I want you to come take pictures not in a Studio setting? We can shoot photographs in your home, an outdoor location, or another place of your choice for a $25.00 travel fee.
